For a full buyout, we can accommodate 100 total guests. If you are interested in just the Bevel Bar and Patio space, that can accommodate up to 70 guests.

We measure cancellation notice from the date Venue receives written notice (email is acceptable) to the scheduled Event Date, and we calculate the cancellation fees below as a percentage of the Food & Beverage Minimum, not the full estimated event cost.

• More than 90 days before event — no cancellation fee, deposit refunded in full
• 90–61 days before event — 50% of the F&B Min
• 60–31 days before event — 75% of the F&B Min
• 30 days or fewer before event / no-show — 100% of the F&B Min

If you cancel more than 90 days before the Event Date, you’ll receive a full refund of the deposit. If you cancel 90 days or fewer before the Event Date, the cancellation fee schedule above applies in lieu of a deposit refund. As a result, if the deposit paid is less than the applicable cancellation fee, Client remains responsible for the difference.

In addition, Client may reschedule once at no charge, to a mutually available date within 90 days, given at least 30 days’ notice and availability. Rescheduled events still fall under the cancellation fee schedule above, measured against the original Event Date if later cancelled.

If Venue cancels the event for reasons within its control, Client will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

Yes, we require a minimum of 2 hours for all private events.

We are always looking for ways to expand our private event offerings and are set up to accommodate a variety of gatherings. These include, but are not limited to, wedding parties, birthday gatherings, anniversary parties, private group classes, corporate gatherings and private cocktail hours, to name a few. If your event does not fall into one of these categories feel free to reach out to see how we can help make your event one to remember.

We don’t currently offer package prices for events. We are working on an updated catering menu and will have that listed shortly! For more information, please reach out to our team by completing the Event Request Form.

Yes! We have speakers throughout the shop and on our back patio that boom! Once you book your event, we’ll reach out and ask for your music preferences. This can be in the form of a playlist our staff curates for you or a playlist you share with us to play.

Yes, we encourage you to schedule a site visit to get a feel for the space. Contact our team to arrange a visit.

You must purchase Food and Beverage through our catering and bar team. If you have a special request, though, let our team know and we’ll find the best way to accommodate it. We have preferred vendors for all of your other needs, but you don’t have to use them — as long as every vendor shows a certificate of insurance and gets our advance approval. If you’re interested in becoming a preferred vendor, please email our events team at events@axeandawl.com.

Yes, we offer in-house catering and event planning assistance. Our Events team has over 20 years of combined experience planning events of all scopes and will help make your event perfect!

Yes, you can decorate the venue to match your event’s theme. We’ll work with you to ensure your decorations adhere to our guidelines.

Yes — we base the amount on your contracted Food & Beverage Minimum. Typically, the initial deposit is 50% of the contracted minimum, but this is subject to change depending on the booking and event date.
